Mx Ribatejo - Cortelha

Hello everybody,

Last weekend, the caravan of the regional championship Mx Ribatejo went to the mythical track of Cortelha, located in the heart of the municipality of Loulé.

The organization has prepared some new features at the Algar Motocross Circuit, more parking areas for the public, better reception conditions in the riders' park and new jumps to increase adrenaline and the spectacle of our modality.

Sunday morning was predictable for a great race day. With a fantastic summer day, and the well-kept track, it even made me want to gas up!!

Before practice I was analyzing the track, and I chose to change the transmission in order to have more speed on the bike.

In practice I felt very good with the bike and the track, I had the 3rd best time.

In the first sleeve I started well, I rode together with the first two. Halfway through the race I managed to move to 2nd.

In the second leg a bad start made me lose some time but I recovered until 3rd place where I stayed until the end of the race.

It was a very positive day, I could see that the preparation of the KTM/DERBI made by my father António Agostinho is having good results.
