SX cancelled, MX in September

With five events originally scheduled for July and August and it is unlikely to be able to host the public due to the restrictions imposed by the General Directorate of Health, the FMP Motocross Commission together with the organizing clubs decided to cancel the National Supercross Championship 2020. 'It was a difficult decision, but by everyone considered the right thing to cancel this Championship, and its return is already being scheduled in 2021' comments Rodrigo Castro, president of the Motocross Commission at FMP. At the same time, and also in agreement with the organizing clubs and promoters, the FMP intends to resume the National Motocross Championship as well as the Regional Motocross Championships from September which were interrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. 'We will do everything to hold the motocross championship with all the conditions and above all with the hope of being able to have an audience because only then the races make sense.' reinforces Rodrigo Castro 'praising the organizing clubs that showed a strong union for everyone in this difficult time.'
