Here is the latest crankshaft from our Racing Factory range, for MINARELLI AM6 engine
The stroke is 44.90mm, and it is equipped with the new 2016 version 90mm center distance forged connecting rod with external CNC contour recovery to check and ensure that the thicknesses around the large nose and small nose are respected.
The crankshaft bristles have a diameter of Ø20 mm, which requires the use of 6204 bearings.
The connecting rod pin has a diameter of 18 mm and the needle bearing is specially manufactured according to our plans.
In fact, this cage, whose needles are free (like any real racing cage), has the following dimensions: Ø18xØ24x11.8, while the usual dimensions of a Ø18mm crankpin cage are Ø18xØ24x15.
Why did you make a connecting rod and cage narrower than "normal"? Simply to increase the width of the crankshaft housing in the crankshaft masses (1.5 mm on each side) and thus considerably increase the crankshaft stiffness.
