VForce3 Reed Valve System
The unique design of the VForce reed valve system doubles the reed tip surface compared to a conventional reed valve design. This offers two major benefits: 1) The reed petals travel only half the distance compared to a conventional reed valve design to achieve the same airflow. 2) Because the reed petals only need to travel half the distance, they have a greater chance of fully opening and better sealing when "closed." The reed petals never fully "close" as they are always in motion. Considering that an engine running at 8,000 RPM causes a reed petal to open and close 133 times per second, this highlights another VForce advantage. With reduced travel, the reed petals experience less wear, leading to greater durability compared to conventional designs.
