This service consists of the following tasks:
- Collection of the cylinder at the customer's address via CTT.
- Dispatch of the cylinder to AIRKIT in Spain.
- Removal of the current coating.
- Welding work, if necessary.
- Application of the new scanimet® coating
- Cylinder lapping
- Dispatch of the crankshaft to the customer's address via CTT.
Notes:
- The piston is not included in the service price. You can purchase the piston in our store by adding it to the cart along with this service.
- The cylinder must be well packed and cushioned to avoid damage during transportation.
- If the collection of the cylinder by CTT at the customer's address is unsuccessful, the packaging should be left at a CTT post office.
- Service valid only for mainland Portugal.
Steps for sending the cylinder:
- Place the service order and a piston (preferably letter A).
- Send the cylinder to be repaired completely disassembled (without valves, valve guides, etc.) along with the new piston, in a box, and affix the CTT guide that you will receive in the email to the box.
- CTT will collect the order at the address you provided in the order.
Estimated delivery date: 20 working days after receiving the cylinder.
