PROTAPER - Clamp On Grip
Using the latest in grip technology and molding techniques, the ProTaper Clamp-On grip system offers the comfort and control of traditional grips with the added benefit of quick and effortless installation. The design eliminates the need for glue and safety wire, but ensures durable, non-slip performance.
ProTaper's unique, super-thin clutch-side Windowed Core not only minimizes the outer diameter of the grip, but also provides critical areas of relief for the palm and fingertips. The result is greater impact and vibration dampening over competing solid-core designs, leading to greater rider comfort and control.
The grip surface uses an extra-flexible, tacky compound that is perfectly molded to the inner core. This provides maximum comfort and traction and relieves blisters. A firmer compound is used in the flange and end cap areas to resist impact damage and reduce wear.
